In Thailand the traditional New Year is celebrated from 13 to 15 April 2015 under the Songkran Festival. Songkran (aka the Water Festival) is a colorful and festive event that is known for making a splash :) The water symbolizes the cleansing and washing away of misfortunes and bad luck and to prepare oneself for a fresh start to the New Year.
